Received a postal card through my front door yesterday, notifying me that my much anticipated Nakaya portable writer kuro-tamenuri is held in the post depot, waiting for me to pay £100.29 in customs tax (ouch!!). There was me thinking I had nabbed myself a bargain! Never mind we live and learn. The bruise on my wallet will not stop me looking forward to collecting this beauty tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see that lush colour. Not sure what ink would befit such a pen!

Now eagerly awaiting my first Montblanc, a 145.

Great choice. My 145 is my 'go anywhere' most useful writer. Very reliable. I am sure you will LOVE it.

Lamy Persona black titanium oxide, coming back from Pendleton Brown, who got rid of the 18 K OB nail, and made a cursive italic out of it.

It has been months since I had something in the mail. :headsmack:

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

- black Pilot 78G with medium nib

- Noodler's Ivory Darkness Flex Pen (can't wait!)

 I got my Ivory Darkness flex nib last week and it is so much fun to use. It requires quite a bit of pressure, which makes me nervous, but I just love it!

I'm waiting on two Waterman Phileas' (both Medium) and some odd name fp with an italic nib. Mostly bought it so that I can try an italic nib-- this being my first. I'm also waiting on some ink sacks and cement so that I can repair a Windsor and a Esterbrook LJ.

I just hate the "hurry up and wait" game. :glare:

Waiting for a flex nib Swan ca 1911, from FPN member Zed. Can't wait. Also waiting for a Moore #2 nib from the marketplace here, destined for my Noodler's Xmas pen. I'm hooked on flex (for now).

A lovely Pelikan 1000 in traditional green pinstrip. Really should have been here by now. Come on Postie, where is my pen?
