What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I never cease to be amazed at how international this hobby is. I am here in Scottsdale, Arizona awaiting two Japanese pens I won on eBay; a NOS Platinum Belage (with an odd asymmetrical clip) being sent from Brazil and a Pilot Short (a telescoping pen) from India.

Several.

The TWSBI 530 (that arrived today!!!!)

Love it. M nib. At first felt a bit dry, open the tins, but went to the other side, too wet and too broad. Close them a bit and now it is perfect. Very smoth by the way.

The other is an M605 (the blue one).

And finally a stud nib from Richard B.

I'm waiting for

"X450 QUINATE - X450 Kurve Claret, Gold, Midnight, Vanilla, and Scintillio Vintage Fountain Pen Quinate"

from Amazon via Paramount Goods...

because my addiction is color. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!:-)

What reviews I found, including some here at FPN, seemed favorable, and I simply couldn't resist the price.

I like to switch from color to color to color (my poor pen pals know this!) when I write letters, but also

in sketching.

Ooooo, colors!

Julie

P.S. I forgot to add that the price is $39. for five pens! It seems too good to be true, eh? Time will tell!

My first vintage waterman… a flexy one fr Mauricio! It's probably flying across the pacific now - do you guys find yourself checking the courier's tracking page more often than is sensible? ;)

A Lamy Safari matt charcoal, medium nib and the Z 24 converter.

It's my first Safari.

Almost everybody seems to have good experiences with this pen, so I had to get one.

Waiting on a green striated oversize flat top FP, similar in appearance to a Parker Duofold, but not a Parker. It's a "JustRite" brand that has been refurbished.

I have two Jinhao x450s and a Classic 626 on the way right now. One Jinhao is in Grey Smoke. The second is the prettiest blue I've ever seen. The Classic is a 626 in black. My first pens. The blue Jinhao and the Classic are coming straight from China so I probably wont see those till after Christmas but the Grey Jinhao just cleared the sorting facility and should be here possibly tomorrow. It's the one with the ink order so it's good that I'll get that one first. I'm excited and I can't wait to try them out. As for patience... it's never been one of my virtues...

After getting my Lamy Safari Japan Color (EF), I succumbed to my urge to get a Pelikan 800 Blue O' Blue (F). I already have too many fountain pens for myself; but, I could not resist that nice blue color of that pen. Can't wait to see and hold it in my hand.
