I am waiting for an MB Monte Rosa with flexy 342 nib to arrive after a cleaning / tweaking by Niksch.

The Monte Rosa's s appearance means little to me, but the nib is very nice.

Check out this line variation (ink is Lierre Sauvage):

I am waiting on a Visconti Homo Sapiens with a 1.3mm Stub Nib from Bryant of Pentime.net

It is my first purchase from Bryant, and from what I've heard - it won't be my last. And I can honestly say that so far he has been amazing in his follow up and he has been very thorough and fastidious in his information provided. He knows what people want when dropping that much cash on a pen.

Anyways, I had the pleasure of trying out the nib at a local shop near me and it is a dream to write with, I'm hoping mine will be just as good!

Here are some pictures of the pen, and a writing sample of a visconti stub nib:

Can't wait for it to arrive  should be here next week!

1) A 1925 Sheaffer Jade Senior Flat-top, one of those rare eBay coups from a poorly-photographed junk drawer lot— $57— that had several restorable vintage pens. This was the only one I sent out for repair.

Richard Binder welded a crack in the nib, corrected the sprung condition, fixed the bent pressure bar, and fused a crystallised area in the barrel. The barrel color is quite good, with the cap a bit faded.

2) A 1929 Sheaffer Jade Balance, pricey but the color is exceptionally fine.

This completes my quest for Sheaffer Jade pens and mechanical pencils (while the flat-top was in Binder's queue, I got a large pencil in excellent shape at a bargain price and found a perfect Ladies ringtop in a local antique shop for $10).

I ordered this old Mabie Todd Blackbird from eBay four days ago. I figure it's going to take a week before it gets here.

I am ridiculously excited. I have a thing for pens by Mabie Todd.

The one that arrived this afternoon was another Lamy Vista with the 1.1mm Cursive Italic nib. Now let's see what'll be next. . .

See with what large letters I have written you with my own hand. GaVIxi

For what pen(s) are you waiting, in the mail? And are you waiting patiently lol....

A Purple and Black Lamy Al-Star with converter and a bottle of Noodler's Purple Martin, which is part of a birthday gift for my wife, who specifically said "do not buy me a fountain pen for my birthday." (She likes purple and she's a writer, and there's also a steak dinner involved.)

A Pilot 78G as a cheap everyday pen to replace my Jinhao X450. It should be here any day this week, so I'll have pics up soon.
