Helloooo fellow pen hounds..... :happyberet:

I have just ordered a Sailor Sapporo F nib with gold trim. I don't reckon it will arrive till next week though...... :crybaby:

(I've already got a Professional Gear with B nib)

For what pen(s) are you waiting, in the mail? And are you waiting patiently lol....

I am waiting, fairly patiently so far, for a Parker 51 full-sized Flighter that should be in sometime this week. And about a week after that I should be getting a stylograph pen that is probably over a hundred years old. Both were amazingly inexpensive, the Flighter was $170 and the stylogragh was $5.

Got it yesterday, almost perfect, some very light wear marks, and I didn't get any ink at all from the pen when I flushed it out. Inked it up and it writes perfectly, a slightly wide fine. The seller krakers shipped it inside of a section of PVC tubing, he had tested it out with water. This was probably my best eBay auction as far as how smooth everything went.

And it was the big one, a full 5.5" long. I used it last night at work and it was the usual Parker 51 aero experience, almost boring, pick it up, it writes. And it looks (and feels) so good.

A Visconti Millennium Arc in Blue, fitted with a factory stub nib :cloud9:

I already have the Red one, so looks like I'll have to start searching for the Orange one soon :ltcapd:

Now this is really disturbing - I haven't even received yet the pens I mentioned in my last posting in this thread (the red Omas Milord, and the Yard-O-Led Retro), and now I'm posting here yet again :headsmack:

I'll tell you when I see orange ones if you tell me when you see red ones. :)

This could, for me, be a big week for pens, mostly being returned from nibmeisters, so not new to me but eagerly awaited, nonetheless:

- from Richard B : Lamy 2K, Lady Sheaffer, Visconti Wall Street LE

- from UK: a Burgundy Vac, Visconti Voyager, Pilot Custom 845, Cross Townsend Garnet

- from ebay, Germany: a Montblanc 146.

OldGriz has completed the restoration of my Snorkel and I should be receiving it soon. He also restored a little black Estie demi for me. Glee!
