My first ever fountain pen...a Lamy Vista! woohoo!!

I have promised to give mine to my SO this week, but I am highly impressed by the smoothness and wetness! I'm kinda disappointed she chose that one...DOH!

I just won a Levenger True Writer in Sea Glass on eBay from the Levenger outlet. I'm very excited! I love green pens, but I only have two at the moment! Need another... :ninja:

Edison Glenmont bulb-filler. My first Edison, made-to-order, and the waiting is driving me nuts. I was hoping maybe it would get here today, but the mailbox was empty. Then I checked USPS tracking and found out it was scanned at the Fort Worth "transfer center" at 4:10 AM this morning. So. . . It should be here tomorrow morning for sure!

Incidentally this is the first time I've ever gotten any useful information from USPS tracking. Usually it only tells you when the package was put into the system and when it was delivered, nothing in-between, which is useless to the person waiting for it to arrive. UPS and Fedex have great tracking systems, they tell you everything.

I just ordered the Nakaya Bamboo Woods in a Portable Cigar (no clip) with XXF nib. It will be months....but that's ok......I attached the photos (I hope) from the Nibs.com Web site, which shows the pen with the clip that won't be there on mine! I ordered Kanji to say: "Haiku Writer." :roflmho: :D  :clap1: :notworthy1: :cloud9:

A 1949/1950 Sheaffer fat touchdown Statesman and a tortoise shell Laban Mento.

That's it for a while and time to dispose of some under used pens.

Awaiting an Aurora 88p from sunny Italy, bought from Euro Ebay. Hope it wasn't shipped via the Italian post office (no offense).

Talk about impulsive buys! The minute I saw the Lamy Al-Star Chocolate in the Lamy email, I found one on ebay (with converter)for a price I could somewhat justify in this month's budget. I already have the perfect ink for this which is the PR Chocolat so at least I didn't add the cost of ink. This purchase didn't even reach cortical levels...completely reflexive! If it weren't so doggone hot and humid, I'd wait on the doorstep until it arrives :roflmho:

I'm hoping a secondhand Visconti Van Gogh (in what appears to a beautiful red) that I scored on eBay arrives in my mailbox today. It cost me about 4 times what i had spent on any other pen so far. :)

Vintage Aurora 88 (the original model)

New Aurora 88 slim

Black Lustraloy Parker 51

Can't wait to compare the two 88's as well as compare the two hooded pens with my Lamy 2000!
