Oh happy happy, joy joy. Got a Visconti Homo Sapeins headed this way along with an Edison Grand Huron in the white celluloid. Life is good.

I'm waiting for a pair of Stipula 22's from Giardino Italiano's sale....on, no, wait - they've arrived!

Ordered late evening 7 July, arrived first thing this morning,9 July. COOL!

Thanks to Susanna for an efficient transaction.

One pen for me, the other as a gift for a good friend who surprisingly does use a basic Parker FP even though he is the 'antithesis' of faff. This Stipula 22 (second gen) with the Ti nib seems to fit the bill for a nice FP with a few unusual features like the Ti nib and the large ink window that should appeal to his technical mind.

And I have a new toy too of course!

Two TWSBI 530 Diamond pens in F & XF; sounds like fun to be able to do own maintenance on these pens and be a beta tester for Speedy.

A VINTAGE GERMAN GEHA GOLDSCHWINGE FOUNTAIN PEN. :notworthy1:

Rolled gold trim.....the nib size will be a mystery....I 'discovered" it late, in I'd spent the last week looking at English pens.

It's a pen I'd not expected to own...not in the near future.....I'm going on the wagon, till Christmas.

I won by 20 cents non snipe, from my limit. Wheeeeeee!!!!!!

Ebay told me I won at one price. A second after the auction was over...a Snipe program kicked it 10 pounds more...I'd been perturbed, had I lost.

It's very upsetting to win something...second time this has happened, and a snipe program gets it's bid in after the auction is over. :gaah:

Of Course It's black.... :crybaby: I can't afford colored vintage German fountain pens...Green stripes on a Pelikan don't count...its got a black top.

In it's day it was an expensive pen, at the MB level.

It was one of those things where I said, I can always get a pen with a medium flexible, medium nib. This pen is not every day, and when seen was not affordable.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

I won a JINHAO Dragon protect Precious Stone Fountain Pen for $13.49 inclusive the other day. I'm going to store it for my eldest daughter's next Christmas. =)

I'm not in the market presently, having just over-extended on some things that needed addressing, but I suspect a blue Pelikan M205 demo will be on it's way fairly soon...

Whilst not in the mail I am waiting for Thursdays pen club meeting when I pick up my bargin Waterman 52 with very flexible fine nib from the person I use to restore my vintage pens.

I picked it up on a short vacation a couple of months ago in an antique shop in a small village for twenty bucks! Brian has charged me another twenty for a new sack, nib realignment and lever fix and service. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

All the best.

Ian
