Just twenty minutes ago I won an 'old' Waterman's on the old 'bay, looks like a 52 to me. This one has a cap clip and looks vaguely blackish, so cosmetically (at least) better than the one I already have.

Pip-pip!

Cordialement.

Nakaya Light Briarwood Glossy (M)

I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

After several comments lauding the Pilot 78G and Prera pens, I've got three 78Gs (F, M and B) and a Prera somewhere between Hong Kong and Canada. I thought about the Lamy Safari, and I know they're good pens; but I don't like the fact that I have to hold them like a ballpoint because of the bevels on the barrel where one is supposed to grasp. So, if I want to experiment with different points, these are good alternatives for a similar outlay of cash. I'll let you know what I think when they arrive.

Hurry up Mr (or Mrs, or Ms) Postperson ... I really need to get the new Ragtime 20th anniversary Visconti from Bryant. It took me the better part of a week to make the final decision, can't you get it here in a day?
