now I'm waiting only for a black esterbrook with fine nib....

I've been waiting for 18 days so far.... I guess it's time to contact the ebay seller and ask him where's my pen!

It was supposed to be a gift for my girlfriend one week ago!

Since we're on a roll:

1. MB 149 (extra-fine) from Germany purchased new from an authorised retailer

2. St Dupont Orpheo/Olympio in the black chinese lacquer and gold trim. Extra-large: To return from service for a nib section repair under warranty.

3. Visconti Homo Sapiens: Extra-fine Nib for adjustment and regrind to a cursive italic from Mike M.

4. Lamy 2000 to be reground and cleaned/serviced from Richard Binder.

I think I'm all penned out now. I actually am in the position where I can't think of another pen I really want at the moment.

In Rotation: MB 146 (EF), Noodler's Ahab bumblebee, Edison Pearl (F), Sailor ProGear (N-MF)

In storage: MB 149 (18k EF), TWSBI 540 (B), ST Dupont Olympio XL (EF), MB Dumas (B stub), Waterman Preface (ST), Edison Pearl (0.5mm CI), Noodler's Ahab clear, Pilot VP (M), Danitrio Densho (F), Aurora Optima (F), Lamy 2000 (F), Visconti Homo Sapiens (stub)

I am having fun with this little Vintage Japanese Pen called Elliot.

It is from the 1950s. The nib is extrafine and Flexy. It lays down a rather nice line variation.

It is currently in my rotation. I have a Pilot Justus with a fine adjustable nib all inked and ready to go.

A pre-'62 Meisterstück 149 to be returned from John Mottishaw.

I think I've still got about three months to go so I'll probably end up buying something new before it comes back. In fact, I've been eyeing those New Postal Reservoirs Richard Binder is going to have at the show this weekend. That thing holds enough ink to be my desert isle pen with no refills needed till I'm picked up. clap1.gif

I want to chat with Richard about the breather tube though to see what's been changed in this 2010 reincarnation of the original. The old ones were prone to (breather tube) cloggings and users had to ream them out with a very stiff and small diameter wire. I don't want to put up with that in a modern pen.

I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

Since I sold my lens, I indulged a little and ordered a Delta Via Veneto Doué Elegance from Bryant. I liked the original Via Veneto, and then they went and added a metal cap and an interesting texture (both of which I love) to it!

It seems I've been waiting for different pens for the last 6 months, however as it stands here's the current rundown:

Monday : lamy 2000, sometime next week a sailor Sapporo ( broad, I figured out the Asian thing), maybe next week my returns from Parker/Waterman a Carene deluxe with a medium nib in place of the fine I bought it with, Parker Premier deluxe that was skipping when I got it and lastly a Parker Sonnet Terracota special edition.

And this past week I got a Duofold Centennial From Lewertowski.

As you can clearly tell I am out of control, so much that I ship all pens to work to avoid the wife having a clue.

I always had a thing for pens, but the FP thing has kicked my ass

Ordered a M205 Blue demo with EF nib from Richard Binder the other day. It'll be my first Pelikan pen, though I must wait until the 16th until Richard returns from his current pen show to ship it out.

I am waiting on 2 Reforms and 3 Dollars from smeden. I know when he shipped and am slightly worried about it, but I also know from having enough European-sourced orders that occasionally some hiccup adds a week or so to delivery. If I don't see them by mid-next week, I'll start to grow very worried.

I am expecting a blue Parker Frontier. If it works out I may order a black one to go with it. I generally carry a couple of pens, and I get a kick out of it when they look like a set!
