Taccia Momenta Midnight Clouds finish with medium nib. It's sitting in a FedEx truck in Santa Fe 'Out for Delivery' which will not actually go out for delivery until Monday. Sigh.

There are three on the way - the first is a 1946 English Croxley. I like English vintage and this is my first Croxley.

Next is a mint (in box), stickered (price sticker still attached) 1938 black chased hard rubber Mabie Todd Blackbird.

Lastly, a contemporary pen. In 2005 Conway Stewart celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the founding of the o0mpany by issuing a 'Centenary' limited edition of 100 Henry Simpole silver overlay pens. Number 37 of the 100 appeared for sale in the same group as the two above by an English seller with whom I have done very pleasant and predictable business. I won all three auctions on e-bay and now am waiting to see how much the Icelandic ash plume will delay the opportunity to enjoy the three delightful, very different pens.

I ordered a Pilot Custom 823 Amber Demonstrator and a Sailor mid-sized 1911 in burgundy, both with broad nibs, from John Mottishaw yesterday. I can't wait to get them!

Pen if you go far enough back, was what a nib was called....I'm waiting for 6 Geha nibs, one as is, one with a full section, the rest with just twist in nib and feed.

They are steel, or gold plated steel.

I have a wonderful 14 K, semi-flex KM on my Geha 790.

I am hoping for a couple of semi-flex nibs, even one.

A couple of good nibs could force me to buy more Geha's. :headsmack:

The agonising wait can be much worse when advice is received that the parcel (Duofold 05 and Waterman Phileas) has been stolen. Prompt communication from J.M.Lewertowski reassures me that a replacement parcel is on the way

Other eagerly awaited packages include one with Lucky 8 Duofold, and another with Pelikan NOS M800 and matching BP.

My 'postie' is getting to know me quite well...

About a week ago, I thought I was completely content with my current line up. Then someone had to incite unrest by posting a thread on peoples' favorite demonstrator. I saw the Stip Suprema Nuda, an LE. I'd seen it before, but not when I fell in love with demonstrators after my first one.

Anyway - have ordered it, partly to my dismay headsmack.gif and partly to my excitement clap1.gif. Wait, it gets better - It is payment to myself for my successfully running 4 days in a row (I haven't done any regular running in a long time and am suffering for it.). Can you imagine! Boy does the mind like to rationalize, or what??? Yeah, but I needed incentive to RUN!!!! sick.gif And I am really happy Swisher Pens sent out the 10% off memorial day coupon, because I readily took advantage of it! thumbup.gif So, this coming Monday?????????
