My Pelikan showed up today too! Now I need to figure out what to fill it with. I'm thinking Waterman Havana brown.

I'm waiting for my first Esterbrook J, double jewel. A silver one with the stub nib. Today I popped out (took an eighty mile car trip) to buy a bottle of Herbins Lie de The for it. Maybe 'twill arrive on the morrow...?

Cordialement.

A black Sheaffer Lifetime Balance from the early thirties, I think that it's an oversize. It will need resaccing though but that's to be expected at this age.

currently waiting for a Standard blue celluloid pen, a black Esterbrook that I want to give to my girlfriend as a present (I know, it's not very romantic, but she LOVES black pens with a very spartan and minimalist design), and a green mottled Varuna Gajendra...

I am now waiting for two to return from their travels: one to the wilds of Ontario, whence it may detour through Germany, t'other to darkest Iowa. I shall not rest until Lamy 2000 and Shaeffer PFM return ready to write once more.

I've got two 78Gs (one F, one M), a Tradio Fountain pen (european) and a Sailor Sapporo Mini purchased from an FPN member on the way. I'm also on hold about switching out a B nib for an EF nib for my Parker 100...so it's like getting a new pen!

I'm awaiting an Ero Styl cartridge pen purchased by accident from Ebay (by which I mean, I put a bid on it, went away, and came back to find I'd won it for my rather low bid).

I'm waiting on a Targa by Sheaffer. I had one years ago that I loved, but dropped it onto a hardwood floor and bent the nib.

I'm waiting for two different shipments, with two different expectations:

1. Two Camlin/Nisstiiv pens with retractable nib, one burgundy, the other blue, from Castle in the Air in Berkeley, CA. I have one of these pens and it is practically my everyday writer. It's a $13 pen, so not fancy at all, but a good little pen. Also, the retracting nib - for what reason it retracts, I don't know - catches people's eye and they realize I'm writing with a fountain pen, not a ballpoint or rollerball. One of these is going to be a gift for a friend who likes the retracting nib trick.

2. A Ford's pen being shipped from Croatia. It's a pen made in the USA by a company unknown to me - any info about Ford's out there? - and it matches a pen and pencil set I already have. This one looks to be in first class condition. The Ford's pen I already have is a very nice pen of second or third tier manufacture, with a nice flexy nib and fun to write with.

A purple Al-Star with a B nib - I love purple and I had to have this because it's just a gorgeous colour. Haven't tried a Lamy B nib yet but if I hate it I have a selection of others I can swap it with.
