What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Won a few days ago on ebay, a sleek gold (probabaly filled) Todd fountain pen. Bought it in the last few hours, on a buy it now option, as I could not stay up till 2 am that night.

 

Looks like a good pen to me, but no-one else seemed interested. Here's hoping? :thumbup:

My Parker 75 (nib/section and converter) which is in the capable hands of Richard Binder. Another week or two and it should be back in my hands like better than new!

The Writing Desk is normally exceptionally reliable. Did you ask for (and pay for) International Signed For?

 

True, they are. Did not ask for 'International Signed For' but the goods indeed arrived in such a way.

 

Notification had arrived here, our secretary had it in her hands but said nothing prior to picking up the parcel from the post office. What can I say... (and this is not the first time this is happening).

Awesome. You will soon join the ranks of the excited... pleasantly about the pen and ink, and "excited" when the ink somehow finds other places to be (ie. hands, face, kitchen table, floor, bird's beak (don't ask), etc.)

 

-- Am anxiously waiting for an XXXF flexible M250 Pelikan nib, repaired F 400nn Pelikan nibs, and an adjusted 400 OB Pelikan nib from the capable hands of Richard Binder. Ahh! My Pelikans are naked!!

I'm waiting on a Parker 51 Areometric Mark I in midnight blue with a chrome cap. I'm a wet shaving geek also and traded a couple nice, but not my preference, razors for it. I just looked and See TomPike is a member here; he's the other part in the trade. I've heard so many good things about the 51 I'm really excited to try it out. It will be just my second pen after my first, a Cross Century II lustrous chrome.

Tom Pike is an excellent person - top of the list of excellence in fact!

Today I'm waiting for two Omas pens, old style Paragons in Scarlet and Saft Green celluloid - and another Omas, a 556/f from Italy. Also waiting for a large clear acrylic demo ED from AllWriteNow - and when it has been made, engraved etc. a Herald Grande ED from Brian Gray at Edison Pens. That one is made of translucent tortoiseshell celluloid and will have a broad cursive italic nib.

Please shoo me if you see me lurking on any more sales boards!!! :bunny01: :yikes: :bonk:

Still waiting for 2 Pilot Preras. I presume they are held up by the volcanic ash situation - probably sitting in some parcel depot somewhere. :crybaby:
