What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

My 823 has landed, and is now waiting for delivery- Hopefully it'll be waiting for me when I get home on Monday... Having thoughts about ordering an Eversharp desk set now... No, I need more cycling gear and maybe a new cross country wheelset, or a new squash racquet...

 

I have too many expensive hobbies.

I've broken my Lent vow not to buy anything pen-related, and have ordered a 2008 special edition purple Pelikano. It was prompted by reading that the old-style Pelikano will be discontinued in favour of a weird-looking one, and purple's my favourite colour, so when I saw that CultPens (no affiliation) still had them, I had to order one. I'm impressed with the speed of their service: I ordered it at 10:40pm last night, and it was shipped at 9:43 this morning.

My Lent vow is not to look at pens on e-bay, and not buy any pens until Easter. Ooopps! Ive just ordered a Pelikan Sahara! But, if it arrives before Easter, I will just check its OK and then put it away to open on Easter Sunday - sort of my version of an Easter Egg. :bunny01:

It's killing me. I'm waiting for my fully restored Pelikan 140 to arrive from Germany. Below is some pen porn of the actual device. I also have two Renown 1745's coming for fun and testing, and right now my beautiful red 1950 Esterbrook J is in the shop at World Lux trying to find itself a new 9668 nib. I HAVE NOTHING TO WRITE WITH BUT SHARPIES HELP ME!
