Ditto! I'm waiting for a white tortoise Pel. It's coming from Germany, so I have no way of tracking it; then again, it's going to feel like Christmas when it DOES get here! :) Until then, I'll keep working the slow-starting P45 and enjoying the Varsities. :)

My first Parker 51, Burgundy with a gold cap.

My new red Pilot 78G with a M nib arrived over the weekend. I like it, especially for the price! The M is a little on the Fine side, but I expected that.

Not having bought a pen for a whole week, my tongue was hanging out... so last night I ordered a Lamy Safari Matt Charcoal w. OB nib for the Writing Desk in the UK.

Funnily enough, though many French stockists carry the Safari, I couldn't find one in Matt Charcoal. It's my first Lamy FP and I'm looking forward to swapping nibs. Maybe my newly-acquired POTW habit will change to NOTW (Nib of the week) for the next month.

Or maybe I'll just order the lot at one fell swoop, even the left-hander. Gotta know how the other half lives, after all... ;)

Afterthought: why does Matt Charcoal sound like a lacklustre soap actor?

Edited by Fuddlestack

When you're good at it, it's really miserable.
