A Parker Vacumatic junior 3rd gen in golden pearl. I can't wait, it's my first vintage (if you discount the Parker 51's). :)

Er, I kind of went crazy after a mega overload of delving into the FPN site. After a few glasses of wine I ended up placing an order for a Pelikan 215 (the cool rectangle design) AND a Lamy Safari on the Pen Gallery site (no affiliation, um, obviously). So I am waiting for those, along with the Parker "51" that I was able to locate for a good price, though purchased sight unseen through a different, completely fountain pen unrelated forum. That makes three fountain pens that I am awaiting, all without actually having a proper FP to start with. I think that may qualify as having all three pens be my first real fountain pen...

Hopefully this little flareup of pen acquisition disorder holds me for well into the future...

At a rough guess, I calculated we had completed half of our galactic revolution: I had only to be patient, the second half always seemed to go by more quickly.

Another old fixer-upper 'glass nib' fountain pen, this time from eBay. Had a choice between answering the phone (urgent) and getting the door (not quite so), and missed the postie. So now I have to collect it from downtown, tomorrow afternoon. Patience...

Eversharp 5th Avenue.

Slowly adding a collection of great Eversharp designs to my accumulation

(Not all the permutations of colour and generations.... good heavens, I'm an accumulator, not a collector! I think )

it has been over five weeks and my pens have finally arrived after a nice relaxing trip to mikeitworks pen spa and....they're at the post office right now, waiting for me to pick them up :headsmack: it's okay, daddy's coming!!!

I'm a little hot potato right meow

"no they are not making littler ponies, they are EMBRACING"

I opened a box of cheerios and planted them. I thought they were doughnut seeds. They didn't sprout :( (joke of the week)

Some uncommon Esterbrook nibs, courtesy of Lisa Hanes (& Brian Anderson). I may actually wind up collecting all 33 types of nibs if they don't stop. Here's their post, just in case you're looking for Estie nibs :clap1:

So.... do nibs break the oath of no more pens?

I sure hope not because I bought four nibs from that batch that Lisa just shipped today. Nibs aren't the same thing as pens, are they?
