I WAS waiting for a charcoal Lamy Safari with an italic nib, and a repair on a Marxton, from two different vendors---and they both arrived today.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I've been waiting on a couple of Varunas. . . a dip pen, and a big Gajendra eyedropper-filler with an italic nib. I'm also waiting on the replacement for my defective Emotica, it's on the way.

No mail in my box the last two days. Waiting is hard. :crybaby:

Vintage pens, to fix:

-Sheaffer late 40s or early 50s fountain pen and pencil set.

-A pair of Wahl Oxford pens, plain brown, stored in a lithographer's workbox for thirty years.

-A Wahl Eversharp Skyline with translucent striated brown pearl cap and savage bitemarks.

And (restored, for pleasure) a pristine 50s Conway Stewart 388, marbled blue and gold, with a really expressive nib. The handwriting sample broke my heart.

mmmm. I'm currently waiting for my first vintage pen: A Sheaffer Craftsman (3W) with the Vacuum-Fil ink filling system, with a fine nib, and in gray striated celluloid. Expected delivery is tomorrow. I can't wait for it to show up :puddle:

Edit: And, I guess technically a Parker "51", but that is for my dad. I just used my account on here to get in touch with the seller and order that baby up. He is getting it to match the Parker display case that he has, which is apparently from the 40s, and originally advertised the Parker "51". He bought it in 1988 for $120

My new Jinaho arrived. I love the look of the pen and it is pretty white/silver. But i think I have decided I prefer M nibs to fine.

One ink to find them,

One ink to rule them all,

Well, I put two Lamy Safaris on order yesterday. I finally got around to buying the Pink edition and I also picked up the Charcoal version in Medium and Extra Fine respectively.

Finally I can say that I'm waiting for an M800 w/ B nib, the red one. I have been waiting to say this for six months now, and recently got the right price. All that remains is to see if it fulfills my expectations.

Today I received three nibs that I sent to Oxonian for tuning, was impressed by the terrific improvement and by the very short time I had to wait to have them back. Can't praise enough the work of this gentleman.

I am now very, very anxiously waiting for my first (two) vintage pens, which will also be my first pens with truly flex nibs:

This Kaweco:

http://www.thepenguinpen.com/other/fsother/OT2170.html

and the "item 18008 Soennecken no 116 rare with 14 k EF nib 1938 piston filler..." from:

http://www.penboard.de/shop/

What can I say? Arent'em absolutely cool?

They could arrive this week. Turns out I'm having a lot of work these days (as always, to be honest), so I guess it may take some days perhaps I can ink them and see how they write. That would kill me. Just hope they won't arrive at the same time...

Will I write ever again with regular, non-flex nibs after trying those beauties? No really sure...

I was torturing my Namiki Falcon a lot lately trying to get myself ready for flex. But, I know, that's no the real thing...

I'm a user, baby.

We love what we do not possess. Plato, probably about pens.

Just bought a Kaweco Sport 12 with OB nib on ebay Germany. Recently I've been really thrilled discovering the flexibility of the Kaweco nibs from the fifties... :cloud9:

Hope to find the pen in my mail box very soon!
