Sounds like a nice lot there Chris- Kinda jealous about the Red Wall St :P

I just looked up Goldfink- They only list one model. What is yours like?

YSG- Yikes! That's pretty out there! It looks a bit like the cover of a heavy metal album! What nib does that have?

The OMAS looks really nice too, and I'm not usually a fan of lighter woods.

As for me, I'm not so much waiting for a pen as for a tax return- If it's good, I'm going for a new desk from Lyon Furniture. If it's not that good, I'm thinking custom-ground Pilot 823 custom... Or I go on a little Conway Stewart/Onoto/etc binge.

Good to see the passion is still burning McP. The nib on the dragon is a stub. - yes, it's a little out there, but I wouldn't want to be caught "dragin'" my feet as far as pens are concerned!biggrin.gif

Hi McPete!

The Goldfink Wilde is a button filler replica of a Parker Duofold made from vintage Omas Wilde (black and white) celluloid. I had it at the Melbourne Show but I think the MBs took the limelight! It has been back for a nib swap.

I keep saying 'No more pens!' yet here come a couple of Chinese 'fude'-nib pens (A Bookworm and a Leonardo).

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I placed an order for a Green Lamy Al-star with a fine nib from Amazon on the 29th of December. Since then, I have anxiously awaited its arrival. According to the rate of shipment, it should arrive in tomorrow afternoon's mail! What's worse, is I ordered the Z24 piston converter the same day, but the converter arrived just two days later! :headsmack: Here's a little screenshot of the tracking info:

Note the cliffhanger between Dec. 31st and Jan. 5th -- That was my "impatiently check mailbox everyday for five days" phase..

I'm waiting on a green Gold Bond Stonite ringtop -- intended as the donor for a nib swap, but it'll get a replacement nib, so still be a working pen (in fact, it might show up in the Marketplace after the work is finished, unless I find I really, really like it).

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

It's here and has a simple elegance to it.
