My Nakaya portable writer, just coming back from a nib exchange and customisation from the great John Mottishaw.

Also a 1999 Montegrappa Historia limited edition that I found on his site, mint condition with all the goodies (Book etc!)

The Montegrappa I am saving for Christmas but the Nakaya is through customs and hopefully on the mail van as I speak!

All the best.

Ian

Lamy Al-Star Black Purple. First al-star/safari color that I haven't immediately thought "eh..." about when I saw it, so I don't own one yet. Been waiting since the beginning of October to place the order and can't wait til it gets here.

I waited for my 3 Pilot 78Gs after I ordered on 22/Oct/09. They arrived 7 days later.

I ordered a Baoer 388 on 22/Oct/09 too. Came 11 days later.

Not bad considering it is on the other side of the world.

Sadly none.

:crybaby:

This is only bearable due to the fact my DJ 2nd gen vac in burgandy arrived yesterday and my blk dj 51 the day before.

I am however working on correcting this problem.

Cheers

I am impatiently waiting for my Lamy 2000 to arrive. The Fed Ex truck came by to deliver it today but I was in the backyard painting and missed it! Oh well, it is supposed to be a Christmas gift from my wife and she doesn't want me to open it until then.

I'm not EXACTLY waiting for it in the mail - just ordered it today, but I'm looking forward to the Edison pen special order Brian Gray helped me put together today at the Ohio Pen Show.

The show has been great, by the way. Very comfortable and welcoming as always, very good for vintage (Janet's and my preference, generally), with a nice representation of contemporary pens. We just left the Saturday auction early - a great feature of this show - but we're beat and need some rest before the long drive home tomorrow. At least the trip will feature conversation about all the folks we spent time with and the great pens we saw - and a few that will be going home with us.
