I collect (trying to) snake related pens, and that is THE Snake, it is SERPENT!

Wow! That's really a grail pen for you, too!

I gather marine-themed pens, so I know what it's like to have a focus. Right now, the Lighthouse of Alexandria I have is the center of that focus.

Darn this forum...

Couple of Waterman's from Serpentum

Parker 51 - 1950s era Black & Lusterloy (won in an eBay auction from Speerbob)

Blue / Green Vintage Waterman, won in eBay auction for $9. It was an estate auction, they were not FP specialists, located in Sherbrooke, Canada (scares off some US buyers) and couldn't guarantee it worked, but it looked in great shape in the photos. Besides, who cares if it works right out of the box for that price!

Now, if I could only find where I wrote that number for the therapist before my wife finds out and either cries or divorces me... Hope I used Noodler's bp ink to write the number down with... :happyberet:

And I thought some of my other hobbies were expensive!!!

OK, let's see... If I sell the house, get a second (and maybe third) job, sell the kids into slavery, donate several organs, and knock off my wife for the life insurance, I MIGHT have enough to keep up with some of you here... A couple of stainless steel SCUBA tanks, technical equipment, underwater computers, and even a Ruby Titanium regulator have nothing on some of these pens!!! :roflmho:

My ebay win Cross Townsend should be on its way today or tommorrow. Kind of a blue marble finish with a 14k fine nib. I am looking forward to receiving it. It will probably be the last pen I buy for awhile as I am now under the threat of personal attach to my posterior from my wife if I purchase any others in the near future. :bunny01:

I am waiting for my fourth DaniTrio, which I won yesterday on eBay. It's one which Kevin was selling, with no DaniTrio logo, as it was originally made for Sharper Image.

Just purchased a Pilot Quatro flat black (even the nib) on fleaBay. This is just to give me something to play with until Brian at Edison Pen Company sends me the custom Glenmont that he is making for me. Can't wait.

I'm waiting for Godot.

Okay, it just feels like it. The pen is a Stipula Etruria d'Inverno, ordered back in early March. . . .

Waiting for a late 1930's Italianissima Imperiale that I won on fleabay two days ago--pearl w/black veining. Similar to one

shown on pg. 213 of The History of The Italian Fountain Pen,Vol. 1(for those of you that don't have the two-volume set,I highly

recommend it. It is money well-spent.).

I am waiting for an Omas Arte Italiana - the gray HT uuuuh!

I have liked this one for years but have had issues with Omas cap brassing before and the Omas rep (someone gave me her contact number) ignored emails and calls... It was only here that I saw brassing is so prevalent on Omas. Sorry, but this seems unacceptable - both the brassing and not getting back to me. However, I really want to try this pen and see if writing capability makes me want to keep it. I also happen to like the Greek key design. In my opinion, if a community like FPN takes it up with Omas to produce quality stuff and have *some* customer response things can change.

Oh, yeah, I am also considering some other pen addition but still not sure as my number of pens is increasing too much with this Omas (that's what happens when you have only a few pens)... I remember that a member on another forum was talking about critical mass: at some point you can accumulate so many that one or a few more items don't really matter for your loved ones (i.e. - your spouse can't really keep any track of them) and the mailman is your best friend :roflmho:

Cheers

Ivo

The Delta LE Peace FP trimmed in sterling silver with a fine nib. Should arrive today. (A certain big, brown truck becomes such a welcome sight too. )

I'm waiting for some pen-holders and dip-pen nibs. Some gillotts and a Leonardt Principal. Always fancied trying some new, fresh dip-pens as opposed to a rusted old nib that's been lying in some damp window sill for the better part of a quarter century....

EDIT: Postie has delivered mail, but no dip pens.. ah well :(

I have ordered a similar pen (Delta Alfa Romeo 1750), from hisnibs, of course! So that's what I am waiting for atm.

(I'd like a Monza, too, but they are a bit too pricey.)

The 1750 is even nicer than the Giulietta, having a smooth Fine nib & piston fill.

AND I have snagged a Delta Monza LE for <$250, delivered, off fleabay, so I am awaiting that.

Also a Waterman Liaison F in ebonite, from FPN Marketplace.

I just got an email from Nakaya. They have (finally) shipped the first of my two pens that have been on order! A black Piccolo with my name in Kanji.

I hope to have it soon. Based on some of the posts here, they usually send the notification just a couple of days before the pen actually gets here.

I am still waiting for the Aka-Tamanura Decapod, with Rhodium clip.

I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
