I really like the four on the right, especially the Tuareg (? blue one). Is the clip the shape of a sword? LOVE IT!

I love the Tuareg too, but now I see I really need the lever filler version. :)

Wow. I really like the four on the right, especially the Tuareg (? blue one). Is the clip the shape of a sword? LOVE IT! Next favorite is La Citta Reale.

I think my favorite material is the Pompeii. They're all great though!

Yes, the clip on the Tuareg is a sword. There's a c/c version that's unusual in that it has bands of white resin for the cap and barrel bands instead of the sterling silver trim on the lever filled version.

Hello all.

These are my Auroras:

Amazing collection. You need now to go towards the Auroloide Optimas... ;)

You don't like Talentum or Ipsilon? They are nice pens too. The steel nib of the Ipsilon is excellent.

Thank you for the compliment. I do like the Auroloides. Unfortunately, the only shop here where Auroras are sold, stopped importing them since late 90's and all that they have are the old stocks. No Auroloides. But there's always online shopping

Mine really don't compare to many here, but:

:clap1: Excellent collection.

One curiosity: I own a Journal, but yours seem to have the clip on the wrong side? :o

Is that a special version and is the placement of the clip justified by some technical feature?

Thanks. Congrats again....

Cheers,

Andrea

That's because that particular one is a rollerball, and that is where they put the clip for RB's. They also had a limited edition Journal that was in a cream color, and actually had clips on the cap and body...

Doug C, thanks for posting a pic of a Ponte Vecchio. I have two of the three colors that Visconti made. I like the pens, though they are quite small. They are excellent quality and write well. I am surprized that I never, bar none never, see these pens depicted or for sale. Are they so rare?

Unfortunately, I am photo impaired, so I can only look at these marvelous contributions.

FrankB, this is another one that is a rollerball (I went through a period where I got fed up with the new fountain pens I bought now working correctly, and just bought the RB equivilent-something I regret nowadays).

It is very beautiful, but another mistake I made was not buying the version that has the silver trim. I have gotten rid of my of my gold trim pens. I just fell in love this with color. I think it is called Vesuvius.

I don't see them up for sale much either, and I can only guess that they were a fairly limited edition.

Hello,

I just wanted to give a quick update to one of my favourite threads here.

http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/3508/dsc8977vy0.jpg

If you compare this pic with the post #31 you will understand that a lot of work has been done this year!

I am especially proud of my last purchase: the Paragon old style. I will ink it in this weekend for the first time to use it throughout the workweek.

Have a nice week end everybody from the Italian forum!

Ciao,

Andre
