intertine smoothing tips?

I do use the paper bag. I think of it almost like a "finishing polish"-- the least abrasive thing you can use, kind of like how you decrease grit size to the finest when you're honing knives. I don't know if that view is accurate or not, thats the reason I asked that question. I do know the paper bag is mild, but not if its milder than .03 or 1 micron mylar.

 

I actually did the copper penny thing when I first started out. I wouldn't recommend it.
