It looks like a 1920's Safety #0 (the 0 in the middle of the star on the nib denotes the nib size, and the early models were named after the nib size) with a full overlay, which I'll guess is rolled gold. Can you make out what's been stamped into the end of the clip there?

Here's some pictures of a Safety #0 with a ringtop and a rolled gold overlay:

I'm not sure how to determine value, but this era of MB is not cheap to collect. B)

In order to convince someone that this is a Montblanc you need to answer a few questions.

What are the imprints on the pen, both on the overlay and the hard rubber at the end (need a closeup pic of the barrel end)?

Is there a groove under the feed (a pic would help)?

Is there a pin inside the cap?

Is there an engraved star on top of the cap (after-market overlays will not have these)?

It's a beautiful piece. What other information are you looking for, for this pen?

Many early overlay MB's were made by jewellers who bought the basic black pen and fixed metal sleeves over the cap and barrel. The factory also got into the overlay business, producing several interesting designs.

Here is some info on the markings:

The nib shows: MONTBLANC, the star with a "0" in the middle and 14CT.

The barrel has the word MONTBLANC.

The bottom part which you roll to hide the nib it shows: 0M.

I will apreciate any other info you guys can share with me. Thanks

This is definitely a #0 safety ("safety" means that the nib could be retracted, which would also seal off the ink supply). The pen is made from hard rubber, and the metal cap and barrel overlays were added over that.

The OM on the barrel knob is for "Oblique Medium", which is the nib style that was originally installed on the pen (on some pens the nib may have been changed for a different style after the pen left the factory). It's hard to tell from the nib photo you posted, but the nib might have been ground broader than a Medium. The nib is solid 14kt gold, as expected for this model.

The only letters (or hallmarks) that might tell me anything more are the ones stamped into the end of the clip, which should describe what material was used for the metal overlay. (The marks/letters are visible but not readable in the fourth photograph shown in the first post in this thread).

Thanks Kalessin!!! you really helped me a lot!

The word stamp at the end of the clip is: 18KR

Can you give me an approximate value for this pen? or know how to find out the value?

Thanks!

18KR means that the metal overlay is 18 karat rolled gold, which is a decently thick gold plate over some base metal.

Unfortunately, valuation is beyond me; I just don't have any experience with these pens. I'll guess above $1500, possibly above $2000.

Martiniauctions lists a slightly different Montblanc early safety pen with overlay at $2000 in this auction:
