FS: One Pilot Prera fresh from Japan. (2 have sold.)

I just ordered my Ivory Prera, and to subsidize the shipping, I ordered three other Preras: grey with a medium nib, blue with a medium nib, and blue with a fine nib. See the photos below.

 

KCat has posted a lovely review you can read right here on FPN.

 

I have a couple of comments. One thing I love about this pen is its obvious quality. My favorite feature that demonstrates this is what happens when you put the cap back on the pen. As you slide the cap on, it gets progressively more snug until the cap snaps home. It's very cool. Also, it's true what I've been hearing: Japanese nibs run smaller than US/European nibs. My medium-nibbed Prera writes a finer line than my fine-nibbed Lamy Safari. In the interest of full disclosure, I don't have a lot of experience with fountain pens, but to me the nib feels smooth, but you still get some feedback. Just toothy enough? Maybe that's not the best way to say it. It's not scratchy or anything.

 

Anyway, I am asking $36 dollars each for these. They are still sealed (in their own little plastic bag) in the box, and come with a squeeze converter (CON-20) and one cartridge. If you would like to add a twist converter (CON-50) add $4. I'll charge actual shipping, so if you're willing to spring for USPS 2-3 day priority, it'll be $4.60. For other shipping options, I'll have to do some checking. I'd really like to take care of these transactions using PayPal, but you can contact me with other ideas.

I realize I'm new around here, and people might feel reluctant to attempt a transaction. If you feel this way, this is what we can do. If you're willing to split the eBay fees with me (it'll be about $2.21 total, so you pay a buck), I will put the pen you want up for auction on eBay. We'll do a buy-it-now, and I'll send you the item number before the thing even shows up.

If so, any idea of postage costs, they should not be too much and I am happy to pay a PayPal invoice - no need to mess about with eBay.

Lapidary: I guess I could post that to the UK. I'll have to do a little research, but I just bought a pen from a seller in the UK and the shipping was pretty reasonable. I'll send you a PM with more information.
