Hi,

I normally talk about the gripping section where the finger tip rests.

Thanks Grasshopper! :)

Length 3.5", width 3/4" (at 8PM)

My favourite comfortable pens are MB146, Nettuno Skipper, Dani Trio Tamenuri flat top prototype/Bani-e/Kamakurabori, Pelikan m800

Used to be Parker 75/ Pelikan 400.

Not sure if writing with thicker pens is relational as one gets older.

I remember when Jim's pen quiz was on and Chris Burton and I kept posting the same correct answer at the same time, but I think Chris beat me by mere seconds almost every time  That was fun....

My left index finger is 3.7" long and is 0.85" in diameter. My favorite pens are Pelikan 100N's (posted) and pens like a MB 146, Sailor 80, and Pilot's FK-size pens.

And Maja, yes that was fun. I was sweating big time and was typing and posting as fast as I ever have!

Hi,

My Pelikan size is the M300, and I can use the Montblanc Mozart, 144, and 145 with no trouble. :)

8 cm now... it keeps on changing... That's the right hand. 1.5 cm diameter

funny this post didn't appear in new posts... :bunny1:

Oh, I prefer Taccia Imperial Portuguese, rOtring Cores, Danitrio Mikados... :bunny1: anything big!

For such small hands I love big pens with a large width.

Index finger on the right hand (im a righty) is 3.5 inches and the width is a bit more than 3/4ths of an inch.

I like Pelikan M1000 but I like even wider pens such as the Mikado, Etruria, 149, Prometheus (Bexley) OMAS 360

This thread made me realize I have fat fingers. :(

Left index:

1" (2.5 cm) wide

3 3/8" (8.8 cm) long

I only have a Pelikan M200, but want a larger one.

Ok.

4" x 7/8ths

I'm pretty adaptable to different pens. I'm nice and comfy with a big ergonomic Rotring Core, or a small Estie SJ.

The pen that seems to be with me the most is a Hero 508 Stainless about 7/16ths in diameter.

How can you tell when you're out of invisible ink?

Ok, since this is one of my favourite threads (since I've always been interested in people's choices of pens and comparing it to their hand sizes), I think I'll bump it now - it's been a while and there are many new folks here since then.

Right Index Finger - Length: 8.5cm (3.3") Width: 1.9cm (0.75")

A M400 is my ideal Pelikan size, though I can use the smaller M300 too, but I find the slimness of the M300 to be a problem for extended periods. Esterbrook SJ's are also quite perfect.
