For how long did you run the water for? seconds or some time?

Lamy Blue is very washable. I did a similar test with your standard A4 office paper: a few seconds under the tap and everything flowed off.

 

Lamy Blue also fades significantly over time, so I'm reluctant to use it even though it's an appealing shade of blue.
