Cross Solo Extinct?

While BP and RB versions of the Solo and Radiance seem to be readily available, you'll soon discover the fountain pen version is significantly hander to find in NOS condition. FeeBay had three FPs for bid; all from the same seller in India. I got one of his Solos and it was used plus it came with a broken converter. If you do find one, it will be priced accordingly. I've seen them go for $40.

 

Solo (Radiance, too) nibs were made by Pilot/Namiki, so at the $40 price tag, they're still worth it.

Waiting on a green solo I just won on the bay.

 

I have a Solo BP that was my go to pen for years. I can't wait for the fp to arrive. Plan to fill it with Herbin Vert Empire.

bought a pile of them a few years back to give as gifts..

very pleasant basic pen, rather classic looking.. nice smooth nibs..came with 2 small carts and convertor fpr $40ish..

Love my Solo! Its a great writer (have the F nib) and has always been trouble-free.

Anyone have a source for any of the Solo FPs? I had so many, but gave them away. The one I have left is a very nice writer, and I would like a couple more.

Yes, I'd like to get another one. I just gave mine to my niece over the weekend along with a nice handstitched Paperblanks journal.
