Ancora Perla- Review

Hmm, I realize that I'm reviving a fairly old thread (understatement of the year, haha), but I came across a really droolworthy picture of an Ancora Perla over at FPN-P (the quasi-official [?] Philippine branch of the FPN) and decided that I definitely had to try one out in person, maybe even add one to my small collection.

 

Scouring the internet didn't do very much to help though, as these pens seem to be quite hard to come by. Worst come to worst, I might have to go to Italy and buy the pen straight from the manufacturer! For a number of reasons though, that might not be such a bad idea ;P

So, anyway, there you have it.

I just realized that this is my first post here in the FPN since late last year (around October, I think?), when my PC was, well, destroyed. I lurked, naturally, but never did muster up the energy to post. Great to be back XD

Well worth trying. I have an unreasonable addiction to the long Ancora nibs. The stubs are awesome, BB up there as well.

So aside the Viscontis, you have some Ancoras? Was thinking that you were mostly coveting the viscontis

If, for some reason, you find that you wouldn't mind letting go of one of your Ancoras, Ghost Plane, please feel free to drop me an email and I'll buy it off you (so long as the price is reasonable) XD

 

But seriously, it's a shame that Ancora apparently went under (verified?) back in 2005. That makes their pens all the more valuable, which is great for those who already own one, but sucks like nothing else for those of us who have yet to even hold one
