Any/all Akkerman inks?

I think they have all been reviewed.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I would additionally wish to see a review of J. Herbin Authentic Ink (“Encre Authentique”). i feel it is a comparatively new ink.

Hi,

:W2FPN:

That ink is not designated as suitable for use in fountain pens, so I don't think it's eligible for inclusion in the Ink Review Forum.

However, there may be Members like myself who do use that ink in dip pens. I invite you to open a Topic in the Inky Thoughts Forum, (or perhaps the Penmanship Forum), to gain more insight into that quite unique ink.

Bye,

S1

Piper Premium Black, Royal Blue, and Blue-Black. Piper is a Franklin Christoph brand; the ink cartridges are available here and the first two as bottles (called "classic black" and "blue 72") from here. They are the cartridges you get with a new FC pen which is how I know about them. The black is a lovely deep black (probably my new favourite black 'colour'), the blue a bright blue; both somewhat prone to bleed-through. I only had the two cartridges I got with my Model 66 and have used them up trying to figure out why the stupid nib doesn't work, so can't do the reviews.

I am no longer very active on FPN but feel free to message me. Or send me a postal letter!

It's been out for a year but I'm surprised no one has written a review here of Louis Vuitton inks. If anyone has any of their colors, could you please post your review? :)

Thanks Amber. The links are very helpful.

I got the entire range of Chelpark inks with one week to go for fade Olympics, too late to send the writing samples.

Don't worry, I'll do it again next year.

No. I just checked the list. There are a few yet to be reviewed: 8, 12, 17, 25, 26 and 29.

I have 26 & 29 and will see about doing reviews this week. Just have to decide which pens to use.

Thanks!

Have the Nagasawa Kobe inks Shinkaichi Gold (#22) and Purple Gray (#32) been reviewed?

Welcome aboard!!!

I've done some doodles with the Tanum Purple (#32), but didn't do a review. How have you liked them?

Oh dear.

Ha! Did I put you on the spot? Sorry! You could also send me a sample and I'll do a review if you prefer. :P Or if you just write the review you can mail it to me and I'll take care of taking pictures and uploading it.

Let's do this, because our camera is not the best at close-up shots that might show shading/sheen, etc.
