Yazeh, Thank you for posting the review of Diamine's Silent Night. It was an informative review and I chuckled as I read, 'There’s nothing of interest to write about this ink. It’s got practically no shading properties, it’s a dark greyish blue ink undifferentiated from the dozens of other blue black inks in the market (including a good number of Diamine’s own lineup).'

Glad you enjoyed and it was useful

I'd love to see a review of Troublemaker Inks Lam-Ang. The swap from pure pens looks gorgeous, but the reviews of the other purple sheener, Dona Victorina, suggest it is a sticky stainer. In particular, how does Lam-Ang compare to Lamy Dark Violet (if possible) and is the copper sheen as exquisite as it looks in the Pure Pens swab?

Years have passed but I just got this ink. I'm afraid to say I'm terribly disappointed. There as absolutely zero sheen (at least in the bottle I got), not the slightest hint of copper at all. It's basically a standard, flat, violet/blue ink that gets a bit dark on a heavy stroke.

Only tested with Nahvalur Schuykill Broad on Clairefontaine 90gsm so far.

Hi, and :W2FPN:

there are already some reviews of some 'ultramarine' inks on FPN.

E.g.s:

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/196982-sailor-jentle-ultramarine/
That ↑ review is an old one, from the days before the Board software stopped displaying the contents of any link that doesn't start with "https://".
So, in order to see the photos in its first post, you will need to select their urls, copy them, and then open them in a new browser window (you can of course take the precaution of manually adding-in an 's' between 'http' and '://' if you like.)

For future reference, FPN Super Moderator watch_art created a dedicated Google Search for FPN. A link to it is pinned on the top of the 'Fountain Pens & Dip Pens - First Stop' board. Over the years I have found it to be a really useful resource when trying to dig around in the vast hoard of information on here
Its url is:

Thank you. Very helpful. I wonder why the color has not attracted more recent reviews. I will now look for bottles of the inks  that were reviewed in what you kindly identified.

It could also be a good idea for you to read through the following thread:

Some brands have produced 'blue' inks that are definitely within the 'ultramarine' colour range, but have given them names that don't include the term 'ultramarine'.

So, you may be able to find more inks than just the two I linked-to that pique your interest.

(Has anyone warned you that all of us on FPN are inveterate Enablers...? ;) )

I wish you 'happy hunting'!

There are many ultramarine inks reviewed. Often times they don't have the word ultramarine in the name. And then what is Ultramarine for you, it might not be for someone else. So, it would help which/ what ultramarine inks you want to be reviewed. :)

I had mentioned an interest in Birmingham Ultramarine. It has no water resistance. I was interested in learning if similar colors were found in water resistance inks. Not "document" level, perhaps,  but at least as resistant as Pilot Blue.
