Filling a Sheaffer Snorkel

Also, has anyone seen a guide to disassembly of the Triumph point? I'd rather avoid it, but one of the Imperials I'm restoring looks gunked-up enough that it may well be required. I've found that the actual nib unscrews with some care, but I've been afraid to take anything beyond that point without knowing what I'm likely to break.

:P Sounds like a good reason to buy a "for parts" one.

But I know with the Triumph nib, you just unscrew it, and then you pull the feed forward. But as far as the rest of the pen (ie: behind the section), your guess is as good as mine when it comes to PFM/Snorkel/etc.

I was able to manage it without breaking it! Woot!

The nib unscrewed, then the front 'shell' unscrewed as well, leaving the feed simply slip-fit into the connector. That was a very long, thin plastic bit that took some care to remove without damage, but it all came apart cleanly. Ultrasonic blasted the gunk out of that thing in double-time once it was apart where the fluid could flow over the fins!
