Pelikan M1000 Review

Hi Thanks for a great review and subsequent thread. I'm seriously considering buying the Pel M1000 with B nib. I had one question: the piston filling action sounds great and I think would work wonderfully with my Diamine Violet Ink, but can it also take cartridges? I have a bunch of Pelikan 4001 and Waterman Large Size Standard cartridges which I would not want to go to waste.

The M1000's piston fill mechanism is an integral, built-in part of the pen's construction, and occupies the entire pen body. There is no way to use cartridges with this pen, it is not a cartrdge/ converter or c/c pen. Hope this info helps.
