Waterman 52 9ct solid gold fountain pen for sale

The problem with solid gold pens now is gold is so high that sometimes the gold is worth more than the pen.  So here's a deal for you.  This beautiful Waterman 52 has a well hallmarked 9ct gold overlay on the cap and body and a hallmarked 9ct gold clip.  The pen is in exceptionally clean condition with just some dings on the top of the cap and a split in the clip.  I'm sure the clip could be repaired even without removing it by someone who works on gold.  It's also has a very long engraving with a 1925 date which is nice.  So, I weighed a regular ebonite 52 that's missing the clip and this pen.  This pen weighs .939oz and the regular 52 is .394oz therefor I estimate this pen has .545oz of 9ct gold.  At today's price that's $635.00 in 9ct gold.  I'd like to get $695.00 for this pen.  If gold keeps going up as it has been you'll make up that $50.00 easy.  But it would be a shame to melt it down.  That includes shipping in the USA.  email me at speerbob@starpower,net if interested.  Cheers,  BOB
