Has anyone a spare feed/nib section like this for Montblanc 221 for sale? It is for a piston filler version. My one broke this morning 😭 It was also cracked in the other place.

Hello Medieval78

I can't quite see: Is the black fragment the broken tip of the feed, or part of the section?

If it's the feed, many feeds of similar dimensions could be worked to get your pen writing, again. It would take a bif trial and error - or you may find a perfect fit first time. Technically, it would be classed as a frankenpen, until you could source a genuine replacement - but, that's no bad thing, in my book!

If it's the section - then. yes you're looking for a replacement part and you're likely to have a long search, ahead of you.

Not wishing to be the harbinger of doom, but parts for all pens of this era are rare, already - and only becoming rarer, of course.

A parts-pen donor may be your best bet.

There was a thread, recently about this series (iirc), outlining stress cracks on a similar pen. It's an impossible repair, as it's right on the stress point between the nib tip and your hand-pressure.

Good luck.

Hello, It' is the part of the plastic section unfortunately so I need to find and whole front section that will work with a piston filling system. I'm aware it's not going to be easy to find a part of a donor pen at the reasonable price.

Tom at penboard dot de had (back in my day) quite a collection of Montblanc parts. It might be worth checking in with him.

You’ll have to search the web, and yes, cracked sections need replacement. They are a weak spot of these pens, and with years they become weaker. eBay occasionally has them. Try pentooling.com, maxpens.de, mspens.de, and interpens.de. The later three are in Germany and they all can be reached by email. Penboard.de  could have that part too but you’ll have to search it of even reach out to Tom W and ask him. Finally, try protopens.com in N Macedonia; I’ve actually bought the same part from them a couple of years ago.
Keep in mind that this section is interchangeable between piston and cartridge fillers and between 220. 221, 224, 225, and 227 models.
