:notworthy1:  Dude!  That's epic!  You may well have just written the origin story of the Wizardlands - or at least the land on the other side of the Muirdoor!  :D

 Thank you. It means a lot.  I had some help from chatgpt to iron out my English. I tend to make more mistakes these days, which is frustrating :)

@yazeh @LizEF Dragons are the Bringers of Magic. When a world has lost all of its Dragons, it cannot have any magic either. It is known.

And, should one wish to try to converse with a (western) Dragon, simple courtesy requires that one addresses them in their native Welsh (which also is a Truth universally acknowledged).

;)

🧐 Now I understand why everyone is afraid to talk to dragons - it's not fear of the dragon, it's fear of choking to death on their own tongue whilst trying to speak Welsh! :P:lticaptd:

Hey, at least Welsh is easier to pronounce than, say Irish Gaelic.  Welsh stuff I can generally get them to sound right (even when I have zero Idea as to the grammar).  Irish/Scots Gaelic?  I look at those words and go, "Yeah, whatever...."

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I believe this was found in one of the librarians sacred scrolls @LizEF, @InesF @Mercian

In the beginning  dragons of all size and shapes that roamed the world. The greatest among them  all was Muirdoor, the Gatekeeper, who stood watch over the passage of darkness and light. But when evil sneaked in tainted the turquoise waters of Dragondoor, Muirdoor and her family made the greatest sacrifice of all, breathing fire upon themselves so fiercely that turned sky turned black in grief and the ocean grey in sadness.  As they fell in the ocean, their bodies turning into land  Hence, Muirdoor and her kin became the continent and gave their name to it. From their sacrifice, life sprung but so did magic.

The volcanoes to this day, are the reminder of the Muirdoor's light and sacrifice.

It is said that the Eye of Muirdoor watches over the land, searching for the one with magic and a pure heart—one who can turn light into darkness and darkness into light.

Ooooh! What a story from the beginning of time! Great - and wonderful!

One life!
