Help with identifing a Touchdown model

I just picked up this Sheaffer this week. It's of a pretty low quality, particularly the nib, with the slit being far off-centre...

Any ideas about would be appreciated.

Couldn’t find anything. Sorry. But it sure is pretty…

Just give me the Parker 51s and nobody needs to get hurt.

Is there any indication of the country of manufacture? If not, it could be a Sheaffer Imperial made in Brazil. The Brazilian Sheaffer Imperial Touchdown with short Triumph nib and gold plated cap and barrel is discussed in some FPN threads, but this version in polished chrome is new to me.

Thanks for the comments.

Unfortunately, there are no indications on the pen other than "SHEAFFER °" on the cap edge and "SHEAFFER" across the nib.

I checked the Mercadolibre Brazil website, and the same Sheaffer Touchdown with chrome cap & barrel, short Triumph nib and no white dot can be seen in these auctions:

https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-2195716171-caneta-tinteiro-sheaffer-imperial-chrome-dec-70-_JM

It seems that there was also an accompanying ballpoint:

Edit: I noticed that the above links may not work properly. They do work if they are manually copied and pasted into your search bar. The pens can be found also by searching for 'caneta sheaffer cromada' on https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br

This is a Brazilian Sheaffer Imperial, the Brazilian catalog from 1972 shows just the chrome ballpoint as Sheaffer 501. The gold filled version, fountain pen and ballpoint are the Sheaffer 500.

According to a 1966 advertisement, the 500 fountain pen is called Triumph (not imperial triumph) and the 501 ballpoint is the 500 S.

In the 1975 catalog, there are a 501 T.T., 500 T.T. and Crest T.T. pen, they are very similar to the 500 and Crest of the 1972 catalog, with just a different nib.

I would say, this is a Sheaffer 501 or a 500 S fountain pen from earlier 70s. The touchdown filling system doesn't apper after the 1975 catalog.
