Greetings from Switzerland

Dear Forum,

 

Having just joined this forum I would like to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Hans and I live in Geneva/Switzerland, the home of Caran d’Ache. I know them mostly from the coloring pencils I used as a kid and as of yet do not have any CD fountain pen, sorry. The few pens I have at this stage are my father’s old Parkers, with which he always wrote using turquoise ink and a few more exotic ones I acquired over the years. The issue with fountain pens I find, now that I am retired, is that I do not write much anymore. Just the daily grocery list, that is pretty much it. So a bit difficult to rotate different pens without them drying out. Still, the sheer beauty of these writing instruments as well as the tactile experience makes me want to use them as much as I can and now I have the time, I plan to read up on the ones I have and perhaps acquire a few more in the future.
