Montblanc Bohéme Nib Issues

Hello, all. Long-time member but haven't posted in quite some time. I have a relatively new to me Bohéme with a medium nib that is in need of some TLC. The downstroke frequently skips without laying down ink. I'm a very small niche pen guy these days who over the years has basically settled on two old Parker 51s that are just boringly great, easy writers with no extra work on my part.

So I have no idea if this is something I can try to fix on my own, or if it needs to go to a pen doctor -- not even sure if MB still works on these or if that is even desirable. Any ideas or guidance is greatly appreciated!

@Cmaster03 Having a Bohème fountain pen myself, I confess to checking this thread every few hours to see if anyone has been able to furnish help.  My knowledge is limited to using a pipette to flush the nib and feed rather than running water through the pen barrel, to avoid internal corrosion, and that, sad to say, is the sum total of what I know about Bohème fountain pens.

I hope a knowledgeable member will soon contribute something more meaningful than my prattle.

Bohéme nib is friction mounted to the nib housing. You can following the below video to remove the nib unit, and then gently pull and twist the nib while it is completely dry and it can be easily removed from the nib housing in 2 seconds without any damage.

The skipping of down strike is, the nib is further pushed away from the feeder surface. You need an eyeglass plier with flat nylon head to slightly bend the nib toward the feeder.

You can find eyeglass plier kit at Michael's for maybe $30.

Even thought the steps look simple, but it still needs a lot of experiences. If you are not that handy, or this is your only precious pen, I would recommend you find someone else to fix it for you. You can also send it to Montblanc, they charge a flat fee (I guess around $100-200).
