WTS Cross Fountain Pens 1980s

Hey good folks.

 

New to this forum. I am helping my grandparents, they want to sell these old 1980s Cross Fountain pen set  UK based. They have a certificate of authenticity. 

 

I don't think they are gold but if there's anything I should assess or picture please let me know.

 

Anyone able to give a ballpark estimate?

Sorry, no.  I only have a few Cross pens-- a couple of Solos, a Verve (which I only paid a buck for, which is probably a GOOD thing), and an Adventura (which someone gave me).  

The best I can suggest is to look on eBay and see what recent sales prices might be (the final price is often more accurate than what the seller is initially asking...).

Hopefully you'll get better responses from other people on here.

Sorry but they are not going to make a lot of money, the chrome finish is the problem and they are just a bit too modern for collectors, if they are unused then the best you might achieve is around £60.

 

If I were you I would give your grandparents the money and keep the pens, put them away for the future.
