In the internet I found some one off Meisterstuck 149.

I remember seeing these type of customisations on this forum already. Seem to me they are genuine MB. Personaly I like them more than some of MB own specials.

price range from 2,5 k to over 6k is not that cheap.
my question: would you consider buying for example a raden or a gold striped meisterstuck 149?

@Opooh As mother-of-pearl and abalone shell are two of my favourite materials, I adore pens like the 2008 Patron of Art Francois I 888 and Meisterstück 149 customised with the Raden technique.  Yes, they are not even remotely describable as moderately priced, but I view them as works of art, and I would consider purchasing a Meisterstück 149 with Raden.  In fact, I have already done so, acquiring the pen below in the autumn of 2023 from a fellow collector at nearly an identical price point as that of the pen you have linked:

(Unfortunately, the pen above is currently in a bank vault and not on hand for live photos; hence the seller’s photo.)

Thanks a lot, since the 149 is one of my grail pens, I am always chasing special editions of it.

but with the 149 meisterstuck limited traveller I have problems, nice coral red but that stupid filling system, the Fact you need 3 separate parts in addition to the pen gives me bad attitude to that pen. I would myself prefer a raden to the traveller.

@Opooh Based only on aesthetics, to me Raden is superior to any other Montblanc finish aside from the mother-of-pearl panels of the aforementioned Francois I 888.  To my eyes, the coral colour of the Meisterstück Traveller 1924 is inconsequential in comparison.  Based only on function, however, the Traveller’s filling system, though not your cup of tea, is quite significant to me.  One person’s poison is another person’s medicine.
