The unfortunate thing is that Kanwrite won't sell this nib separately, just as they don't sell their #9 steel nib separately. You have to buy their pen for it.

Yeah! Their #9 nib is amazing though! I recently got a Mammoth in BB. I hope this Mozart doesn't cost way more than the nib, it's a gold nib, it would be great if it came at entry level gold nib pens price point.

Supposed to cost more than 30K based on some rumours, but we'll have to wait a little more to know the exact price. The pen comes in Japanese Nikko Ebonite.

Goodness me! I will have to stop buying pens for three years to get this. Let's see how the performance and quality turns out to be first.

Yes. If Kanwrite sold the nib unit separately, perhaps they could offer it at a more competitive price. But they want to sell you the full pen 🤷

They are not the only ones.

 

MagnaCarta does the same with their #10 nibs. They come only with pen attached. 

And Lotus Pens does the same apparently with their engraved nibs.

And Sailor/Pilot/Platinum do not sell replacement nibs.

Yes, but Kanwrite is primarily a Nibmaker, just like Jowo. That's why it feels odd. They do sell a huge variety of nibs separately to various penmakers and even directly to customers. It's just these couple of exclusive nibs that they sell only with their pens.
