Waterman Man 100 Century Edition - Gold Plated Trim Ring Corrosion

Waterman Man 100 Century Edition (1883 – 1983 on M nib) circa approx. 1985.

The gold-plating on the grip trim ring (nearest the nib) has deteriorated. The pen was my father’s daily driver, so it’s of sentimental value and I would like to restore it. All other aspects of the pen are AOK.

I am in search of someone who can replace the collar, re-plate it, or provide a similar solution. The fix doesn’t have to be period-appropriate -- I'm not going to sell the pen, but use it pen as my daily driver then pass it down.

Thanks in advance.
