notebook recommendation requested

A friend brought me this from Poland from a maker that doesn't ship abroad. A6, 40 pages, glued, graph paper inside.

 

Any ideas for similar notebooks that can be gotten in the US? Sewn and pages not perforated would be nice.

+1. The different sizes and types of notebooks or loose pages can mostly satisfy many paper needs. Some of them  can not be optimal for fountain pen ink

Is there some paper to look out for and avoid?

I purchased a pack of quite cheap A6 notebooks, and they smell rather chemical-ish. Will this fade? Is it dangerous to use them?
