Well, I still won't be able to help you, but hopefully with the link posted people more knowledgable about Snorkels can weigh in.  

Ironically, I have a scene in my head of the novel I'm attempting to write (I describe it as "chick lit summer beach read") where one of the characters comes up to the narrator at a pen show waving around his latest acquisition -- which is a Snorkel demonstrator!  So now I know such a thing actually exists....
