Just one 149.

I got it as a present (then aleady a used one) and, 'away from the maddening crowds', I keep it home and never show it to anyone. Although it is not an everyday writer, for me it is a sheer joy to look at the beautiful, eleborate nib.

Just one, a basic black retractable Boheme devoid of any jewels.

Greetings,

I'm new to the forum (a few weeks now) and hope I'm not overstepping here-- but I was going through a search and noticed you are/were the owner of a no-jewel MB Boheme fp.

If you ever decide that its time to find it a new home--I am hoping to buy one.

Again, I hope this sort of inquriy isn't out of line and I do apologize if it is.

I'm in E. Texas by the way, have a paypal account (confirmed address) and am willing to send funds through that, or with a USPS Money Order. Just thought I'd mention it.

Best Regards,

Mike

I'm back to zero Montblancs for the time being.

:crybaby:

Say it aint so...

It is. I liked my 342 enough that now I'd like to find a 344 in blue.

That said, I'm going to focus my bling on the Italians as MB offers entirely too many lovely expensive pens.

Three:

- ~1990's 149

- Carrera (yellow barrel, c/c version)

* 642G, which has a wonderful OB nib that is fairly sharp/italic-ey.

On my "maybe someday" list is a 139, but that may be a long way off.

Regards, greg

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

Niksch, I gotta ask how many MB's do you have, what are your favorites, and what is in your daily rotation?

I've got all the WEs, the four Dragons, but I am enamored with the 13x and 14s series. Somewhere in this forum is a photo of my tray of these pens. I've learned to repair them, and use a vintage MB everyday. I regularly use a 146 in OB or OBB and 1960s 149s in M, B and BB.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.
