Filling a fountain pen is much more fun than changing a printer cartridge

Just one MB for now. Its a 145 with a F nib.

Just curious, but how can you justify having two of the same pen, and having pens so similar (146, and 149). Just want to know so I know how to talk myself into doing the same thing! :ltcapd:

Montblanc 145, F nib
Faber Castell E-Motion in Pearwood, F nib
Montblanc 149, F nib
Visconti Divina Proporzione 1618, S nib
Montblanc Cool Blue Starwalker, EF nib
Montblanc Solitaire Silver Barley BP
Montblanc Rouge et Noir Coral, M nib

I am planning to buy another MB149, because:

- I want different nib ( B )

- in any case, if something happens with the first one.

Just one, a 145 chopin in platina with a M nib.

Wished I took a F nib however. Hardly ever use it now, use my F nib pelikans instead.

#1

149, black, fine point

Came with misaligned tines - after fixing that, writes OK, if a bit scratchy.

#2

Ramses II, LeGrand, fine point

very heavy pen

nib very flexible, tines separate with the slightest pressure, a pain to write with

but beautiful if you keep the tarnish polished out
