The arsenal I've got: (oldest to newest)

1. 1998 Montblanc Noblesse Oblige Rollerball (Best, handling, pen, ever, got it as a bar-mitzvah present)

2. 2001 Montblanc Ramses Rollerball

3. 2004 Montblanc Ramses Ballpoint (#2 and #3 stay together, cased, I find them too small)

4. 2006 Montblanc Classique Ballpoint (The stereotypical resin ballpoint, used when home and I need something accessible)

5. 2007 Montblanc 149 Fountain Pen (To arrive New In Box from MB in Bethlehem PA with warranty papers stamped by VP of Customer Service)

All this, and I'm 22... I must be doing something right.

Edited by ganzonomy

My pen checks and cracks... my strat's nitrocellulose finish checks and cracks. Could that mean that the fancy precious resin is the same stuff that Fender uses to cover their guitars?

-Just a thought....

One: a Generation Turquoise rollerball.

Since I don't like black, that limits my options with MB, but I'm hopeful I'll find something someday.

Just one, a new purchase - a platinum 146. Are MB's usually dry pens (I've read on FPN about this phenomenon). I will experiment with wet inks (another phenomenon just discovered thanks to MB - apparently not a tautology)...
