More than 40 less than 50 comprising a healthy mix of vintage, modern and Limited Editions (WEs and PoAs).

Mark

C'mon, what are the vintage?!

Yes, I think so. Every time I start looking at something else I just get pulled back. I like em big. Promise photos when camera skills are sharpened up a bit.

And how can this be, because he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

Michael,

Great to see you back! Hope you've been well.

Jeen

Thanks Jeen, nice to see you as well.

Although I took a break from the forums, I have not taken a break from my FPs :) Was pleasantly surprised regarding the forum software update though.

edit: I meant to say "'crocodile' imprinted calf skin" in my previous post in this thread.

Hello fellow MB aficionados. I have an interest in old pens, circa 1929-1950 approx. and I have a small number of MontBlancs.

One MB 146 circa 1987

One MB #34 circa 1962

One MB #32 1955

One MB #12 circa 1960s

One MB #620/22 1960s MontBlanc Junior with #22 Cap and Gold Wing Nib Excellent

One MB #234 1/2 1940s Favorite and Best Nib-Fine

One MB #333 1/2 1940s

I like all the MontBlancs that I own but I treasure the mint 234 1/2, and respect the care given to this beautiful writing instrument that saw it safely through the years of the Second World War and beyond.

Regards

Greg

How did receiving a gift 149 M decades ago turn into this?

Not to mention a Montblanc briefcase, wallet and belt...

I have one, as of Christmas day:

Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Solitare Doue Blue Hour Classique

Can anyone tell me what the defining descriptive word is? Solitaire? Classique?

What model is this pen built off of?

Way to go, lad!!! It may be from the regular Classique which is a little smaller than the 146. Plus the cartridge/converter helps define it. My Classique has a

14k nib so yours is some sort of hybrid. Beautiful!!! Can't wait to see it.

Classique is the base model aka the 145, Solitaire means it has a body and/or cap made of metal, Doué means it's mainly the Cap made of metal, and Blue Hour is the series within the meisterstück line it belongs to.

descriptive you might need the whole phrase XD
