  • 1 month later...

Just started this year:

1 x 149 B (changed it to OM)

- bought new in MB boutique, my first MB purchase. The ambience in the boutique is exhilarating, service is fantastic and they treat you like a king, albeit after gauging your purchasing power. After the conclusion of my purchase, the sales person, showed me all the LEs and SEs, including a couple of the skeletons... :-)

1 x 146 B Bordeux

- bought this online. Thought that burgundy looks fabulous. Wonder why MB discontinued this?

1 x Oscar Wilde M (still in Hamburg, exchanging it for an OB)

- this was from a local collector, was around $700. My first WE!

1 x Cervantes M (still en-route in the mail)

- So drooly..anxiously anticipating its arrival..

1 x Shaw M (still en-route in the mail)

- Same. Can't wait...

Eric, I think Deidre was referring to the Montblanc 149 "Yes We Can". Got. It. Now? :)

Talking about fountain pens is like dancing about architecture.

OK, thanks. I get lost easily around these MB parts. Maybe if were called "Montebianco" it wouldn't happen so easily.

So make that a normal "Me too" only to the quantity of MB pens, i.e. one, and not the model. I only have a 244G, but it stinks of camphor and has a flex nib. :)
