Maybe I am an exception, but to be honest I like the M's very much. Of course they are not comparable to the Meisterstück collection and I can understand the persons and collectors who dislike them. And for sure you can discuss the value in comparison to the price. Some are saying it is the high priced Lamy Al-Star pendant of MB. But finally I like them. Maybe a M fountain pen will be the next one in my collection for being a partner of my M rollerball ...

I figure I have about 350 of various models from several decades of production pens.

That's an amazing collection. Which are your 5 or 10 favorites?

Without counting, perhaps 22-23... current favorites are a Dumas with a B nib, the 149 Rose Gold O3B, a very nice 146 OBB, and a Voltaire BB.

When reading through the list of your Montblanc fountain pens, two of them stood out to me.

Years ago I'd read about a Bespoke OF Montblanc, but couldn't recall where.

Upon reading your post I remembered that it was a thread with images of your collection.

I hadn't known that you also write with a 344G OF. That's a nice surprise to learn today.

Thank you for the time and care to prepare and post this list.

Ok, let's give this thread a BUMP. Here's my collection of MB's. Too many if you ask me today, but not enough if asked tomorrow! If I'm not able to share this here with people who understand and feel my passion, then where else?

Hope you like and approve of the choices I've made over the years. I mainly focus on POA, followed by WE and recently GC. All are FP, except for the 100Y Anniversary Set which I think is underrated. I love it and just started using it today... :)

Well MontblancLover, no one can say your username is false advertising! ;)

Don't worry if any of us approves of your choices. If you are happy, that's all you should worry about. Thanks for being bold enough to share your list of MB pens. It is pretty impressive.

Great collection!

May I ask which Medici you have?

Since they are hand engraved they bear the individual signature of one of the engravers.

Mine is "Bo".

Cheers
