Welcome Kanwrites into my collection

I came to know of Kanwrite only in the last couple of years when I was ordering some pens while in India in 2022. Was not confident of burning my money on them. Kept reading and watching the review here on FPN and YT. Buying and shipping to the UAE would cost me another pen (shipping plus local VAT).  Going to India did not work this year. But my wife was impatient we could not go and she went to meet her parents recently. That was my chance to order my pens. Placed an order on Kanwrite for a couple of pens and they reached Kerala from Kanpur on 4th day from order. Free shipping by Bluedart. Very quick

 

The first one that caught my eyes when I reached when website in 2022 was their DT Heritage. Reminded me of possibly Parker Duo Folds my grand father used to use. I could never touch them. Even his sons perhaps could not!!

 

Ordered it in DT Fine nib and here it is 

 

 

 

 

 

When I am getting free shipping and saving on international shipping since my wife was carrying along, had to order another one. 

 

In acrylic I have a couple of demos from Gama & ASA and 3 or 4 from Wality. Never could buy the complex colours in Acrylics. Chose a Amber Crush in Legacy series. 

 

On opening a gorgeous looking, nearly a Jumbo pen with GT and gold coloured nib. Order was for a M nib.  Was regertting that /Kanwrite did not have the option to buy spare nibs on their portal. Was surprised and happy to see a F  nib included in the box. Also a huge vial perhaps to carry spare ink. Found it even screwed on to the section so I guess it can us used like ED pen.  

 

 

 

 

Not yet inked. I trust from the reviews here and elsewhere I am going to enjoy the pens. 

 

What I am impressed apart from the pens is the packaging that is near environment friendly made of perhaps recycled paper.

Did a dip test on the two pens.

Both write smooth out of the box and are like some precision needle.

 

Nail like for me.. especially the F nib on Heritage has the same feedback like i get on my Gama Raja with Ambitious nib. The girth of Legacy is perfect and Boy!!the finish is so good. 

 

Need to clean them up and ink one for the Pen of the Week for next week.
