I suppose the light avocado green one is the Calligraphy Solitaire that is coming from several days, delayed for several years, with the M or curved nib. For Burgundy 149, no idea/heard something. Isn't the Traveller 1924?

Expand

The traveller 1924 is in coral.

The burgundy 149 is not the coral traveller pen.

The light green 149 is not the celadon solitaire with the curved nib.

It was told to me as two new 149 resin models, but still must be taken with a modicum of salt as I saw no pictures of these.

And the billion dollar question, if this green and burgundy come m, will they be in price range of Orient Express or will they get traveller filling system and cost 5k?

There will be a Chartreuse solitaire with inlaid geometric gold lines and gold trim, similar to the burgundy lacquer. It will have the curved nib and the normal range.

The new 80 Days is blue, which was a bit of a surprise/disappointment to me. Nice solitaire though.

The next Blue Hour (which will go out of production in 2025) will be a bold red.

the celadon solitaire green reminded me of pelikan m640 polar lights … loving it … can’t wait to see it in real life.

the gold lines look inlaid( in one image) or is it raised ( like in maki-e lacquer style) paint.. can’t tell.4EC24C88-F1E9-49CB-AD5E-74CB5E618503.webp.d88dd01f116c2fcb2c2c70ffffd422be.webp

the blue hour in red … (they have launched it in green ( Qatar only “Qalam watani” and in red as Chinese New Year pen (China only). both as classic doue solitaire.

It would be great if they came with some unique pattern instead of simply changing the colour of the lacquer and charging a huge markup over the blue hour price ( I assume it would be a few 100$ extra… as latest solitaire legrands are closer to 2k)

Michael, following the link you post I was directed to the Montblanc’s Italian website, and there I searched for the page devoted to the new products.

It is not my intention to comment here on the individual products, which in many cases are very desirable - albeit often quite expensive - but, as a whole, I found that the ability of the brand to offer a very broad range of novelties in most of their business segments is really noteworthy.

Even restricting the attention to the writing instruments and accessories alone, the offer of novelties is truly awesome, and this seems to indicate - at least to me - that “writing” is still an important voice in Montblanc world and likely, to our fortune, a still profitable business.

Don't know what will be the subject of High Artistry for 2025. For the Masters of Art, general design will look like to a pencil.

That is quite a large canvas to work with @Cyrille81 !

And none come to (my) mind who could be matched up with a pencil ... possibly Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec used some pencils for his drawings for those posters? But that would be a real stretch!

Thank you. That "small hint" I suspect resolves the puzzle. Though R----- is not a name that conjures up the image of a pencil .... But then, what do I know ...

@Opooh I strongly suspect that @Cyrille81, @a student, @admmarcos, and others of us who had worked out the identity of the subject of the 2025 MoA from @Cyrille81’s latest hint were refraining from mentioning the actual name in respect of Montblanc’s information embargo.

Speaking for myself, I did not find the design appealing

In fact, I have no (official/unofficial) information about the models. But I guess that the pens will not please my taste.

I am sure people like objects like that, as others dislike it. I am not interested, not my style.
